FLUX Beamo II 30W C02 Laser Cutter & Engraver with Riser, Rotary, Air Filter

FLUX Beamo II 30W CO2 Laser Cutter & Engraver Acrylic, Wood, Leather & More

The FLUX Beamo II is the second-generation compact CO2 desktop laser: a 30W CO2 cutter and engraver with built-in autofocus, a faster 8MP one-shot camera, a larger bed than the original Beamo, and a 750 mm/s top engraving speed.

It is built for makers, classrooms, gift shops, and small product businesses that want real CO2 cut quality on wood, acrylic, leather, and fabric — without a floor-standing cabinet. Place it on a desk, preview the job with the camera, tap autofocus, and run the file from Beam Studio or LightBurn.

This is not the original FLUX Beamo. The II is faster, has a larger work area, focuses automatically, and can add an optional 2W infrared module for metal marking. A CMYK print module is also available as an add-on in the Beamo II ecosystem.

Why the Beamo II instead of a diode laser or the original Beamo

A 30W CO2 tube at 10.6 μm cuts and engraves clear acrylic, stained wood, and leather in a way most diode lasers cannot. The original Beamo already did that. Beamo II keeps the compact Class 1 enclosure and adds production features:

  • 2.5× faster engraving — up to 750 mm/s vs. 300 mm/s on the original Beamo
  • 37% larger CO2 work area360 × 240 mm (14.2" × 9.4") vs. 300 × 210 mm
  • Built-in one-tap autofocus — no separate focus module required
  • 8MP wide-angle one-shot camera — faster placement preview than the original stitched camera
  • Stronger air assist — nozzle closer to the work (about 8 mm vs. 12 mm) for cleaner cuts
  • Optional 2W IR module (1064 nm) — mark stainless, anodized metal, gold, silver, and copper
  • LightBurn compatible plus free Beam Studio

Key features

30W CO2 laser, up to 1000 DPI
Water-cooled 30W DC CO2 glass tube with a ~0.3 mm spot. Engrave fine text and cut acrylic up to about 7 mm, plywood up to about 6 mm, and cardboard up to about 7.5 mm (material and pass count matter).

Camera-guided placement
The built-in HD 8MP camera shows the bed so you can drag artwork onto the material instead of guessing origin. Preview area is about 300 × 195 mm.

Smart panel and enclosed Class 1 design
5" touch panel on the machine. Fully enclosed cabinet pauses when the lid opens. Emergency stop. CE / FCC / FDA-style Class 1 safety for the base unit. Pair with a Beam Air filter and proper exhaust for indoor use.

Software that shops already know
Free Beam Studio on Windows, macOS, Linux, and ChromeOS. Import JPG, PNG, SVG, DXF, PDF, and AI. Use LightBurn for production jobs (LightBurn license and bridge cable sold separately). Wi-Fi, USB, and Ethernet (adapter where required).

Room to grow
Add a chuck rotary for tumblers and bottles, an extension pocket for objects up to 155 mm (6.1") tall, an auto feeder for material up to 1000 mm long, the IR metal module, and the optional CMYK print head (600 DPI water-based ink) if you want print-then-cut on the same desktop.

What you can make

Custom acrylic signs, walnut tags, leather patches, fabric appliqué, cardboard packaging, rubber stamps, slate and glass engraving, anodized-metal marking, and — with the IR add-on — direct marks on stainless and other metals. Popular add-on work includes tumblers and drinkware with the chuck rotary.

CO2 cuts and engraves (typical max cut):
Clear and colored acrylic ~7 mm · black walnut ~6 mm · cypress ~8 mm · plywood ~6 mm · MDF ~4 mm · cardboard ~7.5 mm · leather ~5 mm · fabric ~7 mm · bamboo ~5 mm

CO2 engraves only: cork, rubber, glass, stone, cement, anodized metal (and stainless with coating where required)

Optional IR engraves: gold, silver, copper, stainless, anodized metal

Always follow FLUX material guidance. Never cut PVC or other materials that release chlorine gas.

Who should buy it

  • Product makers engraving gifts, drinkware, jewelry, and small signage
  • Shops moving up from a diode laser because they need clean acrylic cuts
  • Original Beamo owners who want speed, autofocus, and a bigger bed
  • Schools and studios that need a closed Class 1 CO2 machine on a table

Choose a Beambox II or larger FLUX if you need a much bigger sheet size or a 55W-class tube. Beamo II is the compact production machine, not a 24" cabinet laser.
