New Product Launch, Estimated Shipping Nov/Dec 2026
Raise your Bambu Lab R1 to create the extra working space needed for Auto-Passthrough processing, rotary engraving, and thicker projects that would not otherwise fit.
The standard R1 enclosure limits material length, rotary attachments, and object height. The Riser Base lifts the machine to open a pass-through path for the Conveyor, make room for the Rotary Attachment, and provide additional clearance for bulky items.
The Riser Base mounts beneath the Bambu Lab R1 and is powered by the included 8-pin Bambu Bus cable connected to the machine. It is required for use with the Automatic Conveyor Feeder. Refer to the installation guidance for proper assembly of the left, right, back, and front sections.

Choose the Riser Base if you want to run long materials with the Conveyor Feeder, engrave cylindrical objects with a rotary attachment, or process thicker items on a Bambu Lab R1. It is the required platform for Auto-Passthrough operation.
Is the Riser Base required for the Conveyor Feeder?
Yes. The Conveyor needs the extra pass-through space the Riser Base provides.
Does it support rotary engraving?
Yes. The added clearance makes room for the Rotary Attachment so you can engrave bowls, tumblers, bottles, and similar cylindrical items.
What is the maximum workpiece height?
248 mm (9.8 in).
How is it powered?
Through the included 8-pin Bambu Bus cable connected to the R1.
