Yes — this is required. You must submit your trade-in claim and receive approval before your purchase. Once approved, we send you a payable invoice with your discount already applied. Invoices cannot be issued for orders that have already been completed.
Anyone who owns a used laser engraver or cutter — of any brand — can apply. You must be purchasing a new xTool laser machine from Swing Design to redeem the credit.
No — never. You keep your old machine. We encourage you to donate it to a school, makerspace, or community org, or recycle it responsibly. No return shipping is ever required.
Yes — condition affects the credit tier, but even non-working machines may qualify. Submit with a photo and honest description, and our team will determine the appropriate credit amount.
Yes. A clear photo of the machine is sufficient as proof of ownership. You don't need an original receipt — just show us you have it.
One trade-in per email address. If you have multiple machines to trade in, submit each using a separate email address. Each approved submission generates its own payable invoice.
We review and respond to all claims within 48 business hours (Monday–Friday, 9am–4pm EST). You'll receive an email either way — approval with your payable invoice, or a brief explanation if your submission didn't qualify.
Your invoice is valid for 30 days from the date it's issued. Plan to pay within that window — expired invoices cannot be reissued, but you're welcome to reapply.
No — the trade-in discount on your invoice cannot be combined with other promotions. One trade-in invoice per order.
No problem. Since you never ship anything, there's no obligation. Simply don't pay the invoice and it will expire after 30 days. No cancellation required.
No. Trade-in credits cannot be applied retroactively. Your invoice must be issued and paid before any purchase is completed. If you've already placed an order through the store, that order is not eligible for a trade-in credit adjustment.
