I love this machine - I've had it for a couple of years now, and I must say it's really flexible in both the number of formats it can read as well as embroidery quality. I also love the variety of hoops you can use, and the large one is BIG. There are also magnetic monster hoops available now! I've done everything from towels to shirts to freestanding appliques and multihooping. I use it in combination with either Bernina 9 DesignerPlus or Embrilliance (w/ StitchArtist 1, Essentials, and Enthusiast add-ons), and I've had very few issues. I did have an issue with embroidering on organza, but it was crinkled, so it definitely didn't like that and would bird nest in the bobbin. I'd recommend more sturdy fabrics, or with non-crinkled organza and a good wash-away stabilizer.
