For yoga mats, we recommend our swing away 8-in-1 heat press. Its adjustable top platen provides even, top-down pressure—ideal for thicker items like mats. Clam shell heat presses are better suited for thinner materials such as T-shirts and flat garments due to it's rigid top platen. https://www.swingdesign.com/collectio...

At the lowest pressure is there any separation of the platens to allow this? See more »

While there can be separation between the platens at the lowest pressure, the temperature is a concern as it is likely to melt the foam core. Even at the lowest temperature, the heat from the top platen could melt the foam core.
