Silhouette Designer Edition does not have all the same features as Silhouette Business Edition. You can see a list of all the additional features when upgrading to Business HERE - https://www.swingdesign.com/products/... Our customers especially like that Business Edition allows you to export and save designs. To get started, you can download the Silhouette Studio Basic Edition for free, which is available for both PC and MAC.

There is no license key provided with the Silhouette Studio Basic Edition. The software is free to download through our site and no activation is required to access the basic software capabilities. If you'd like to upgrade, there are several options available which do require upgrade codes.

You will need to download Silhouette Studio Basic - Free Software. Once installed, you will just need to enter the upgrade code within the software to activate your full business edition capabilities. You can also apply the code within your Silhouette America account and then sign in to the account within the software. You can find how to do that here: https://www.swingdesign.com/pages/how...

Silhouette Studio Basic Edition is free! It can be downloaded by "purchasing" the download through our site. You can find the listing HERE. You will go through a normal checkout process, but the total will be $0 and no payment will be asked for.
