Image Armor Ultra Dark Shirt Formula was released in 2016 and was an updated version to our Original DARK Shirt Formulation. The ULTRA Direct To Garment pretreatment formulation improved upon the wash durability and increased “kick over” time for white inks. This allowed for easier printing and “One Pass” printing on many of the newer printers at the time with increased print speeds. CPSIA compliant. RoHS compliant. Okeo-Tex certified and CPSIA compliant. ULTRA is a general workhorse for DTG pretreatments and still a very popular selling item!
100% Cotton: Works great on LIGHT colored 100% cotton garments that require an underbase. You can use LESS pretreatment and still get great colors and white coverage.
Great White Ink: With ULTRA you can achieve incredible white ink DTG prints on dark garments. Less issues with staining, less hassle, faster white ink gel times.
Fast Gelling: Image Armor ULTRA has a faster gel time for white ink than most other
pretreatments. This allows for faster printing & “One-Pass” printing.
Uses Less Ink: Typically you can reduce the amount of ink applied resulting in brighter images and cost savings.
Less Crystallization: Greatly reduced crystallization on the shirt results in better looking garments and smoother prints.
Image Armor ULTRA is designed for mid-dark colors to black garments and continues the legacy of the original Image Armor DARK formula.
