Affinity Designer was the original standalone vector graphic design software used for creating illustrations, logos, typography, branding, and other vector artwork. The newer Affinity Professional Graphic Design by Canva expands upon those capabilities by combining vector design, photo and pixel editing, and professional page layout tools into a single application. This provides a more complete creative workspace without requiring separate Affinity Designer, Photo, and Publisher applications.
The newer Affinity software also offers integration with the Canva ecosystem, while maintaining professional design tools for more advanced creative projects.
