Unfortunately, this machine does not support a hard shell baseball cap. However, you can embroider soft hats (like beanies) or hat patches with the SE700. This is possible by using the standard flat hoop to hold the soft hat or patch.. If you are interested in a machine that can do hard shell hats, you can look at the Brother PRS100 or the BAi machines.
