The Brother SP-1 sublimation printer does have an ink absorber box built into the printer itself, but it is not an easily accessible part. How fast the absorber box fills up is dependant on the amount of cleaning cycles and ink purges done over time. These ink absorber boxes are not sold as replacement parts, and should only be changed when the SP-1 reads these two errors, " Ink Absorber NearFull" and "Ink Absorber Pad Full". In order to have them replaced, you would need to contact Brother Customer Service or a Brother Authorized Service Center.
