The xTool MetalFab 1200W Laser Welder is an industrial-grade machine that combines laser welding, computer controlled cutting, and surface cleaning, into one compact user-friendly system. While this machine can be used for stripping rust, paint, and contaminants off metal, it should not be used for stripping paint off of wood. Operating a 1200W fiber laser on wood can be dangerous and cause the wood to burn or catch fire. The MetalFab can weld materials up to 5mm thick including stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, brass, titanium, and more. It can also cut through metals up to 10mm thick with with exceptional accuracy at speeds up to 500mm/s, ideal for intricate designs or on-site tasks.
