Yes, this works with the Cameo 5 Alpha! The Heat & Foil pens were made for the Cameo 5 (and up), the Portrait 4, and the Curio 2 with their improved powered carriage design. These pens are not compatible with the Cameo 4 or any previous model below the Cameo 5.
