The Brother PE545 (and other models of Brother Sewing & Embroidery machines) can read purchased embroidery files. They primarily use .PES files, via a USB drive or through the ArtSpira mobile app (available on the Google Play and Apple store). They can also read .PHC and .DST files.
They CANNOT read .EMB, .EXP, .HUS, .JEF, or .XXX files.
