You are correct, this physical Silhouette Studio upgrade card has a code on the back (similar to a gift card) that will upgrade your Basic edition to Designer Edition. The only difference between the physical cards and the digital download codes, is that we do not keep track of the codes on the cards, and cannot resend the codes at a later date.
