While the P2S has a built in fan to exhaust any fumes from inside the machine, these fumes are not filtered in any way. The use of a purifier like the Safety AP2 Pro is to filter the fumes as they leave the exhaust hose from the machine. If you are able to vent that hose outside, you do not necessarily need the purifier. However, most customers do prefer it as it also helps reduce any smoke and smell.
