This magnetic 4"x4" hoop from Brother will not be able to attach to the NQ1700E embroidery arm. The hoops for the NQ1700E are designed to slide in easily and have a microchip, which the Magnetic Hoop has two connector bolts that lock in the arm. Please see the list below for models that are compatible with the magnetic hoop.
