Why is the frame 4x7 instead of 5x7? My designs are all 5x7

Do I have to reduce the size of my 5x7 designs by an inch to fit on the frame?? You say in your answer to a comment I would have to edit the size and placement on my machine settings?

The Brother magnetic frame is 4x7 due to the magnetic feature as it takes up additional space within the machine allowing only 4 inches wide. Designs would need to be adjusted to this smaller width in order to use this frame.
