The difference between the Brother PE900 and the Brother PE545 is the hoop size which can be used with the embroidery machines. The Brother PE545 has a maximum hoop size of 4" x 4". The Brother PE900 has a maximum hoop size of 5" x 7". Many customers quickly outgrow the 4" x 4" size.
