Hatch Embroidery Software can be compatible with the Bernette B70, as long as you have a USB drive to transfer the files from your computer to the machine. Designs can only be transferred via USB, and not wirelessly. The Bernette B70 primarily uses .EXP, .BMP, and .INF for the built in designs, but can read multiple varieties of embroidery files saved in these formats:
- VP3
- VIP
- PEC
- HUS
- DST
- EXP
- JEF
- PES
